VISCERAL VOICE

LONG GONE

It won't be long and I 'll be gone.

A fleck of dust or a speck of sand

Be there for me, when I'm done

I'll be there for you, take your hand

The times we had together

Games when we were kids

They told us to enjoy the weather,

That's all we ever did.

Don't you worry

Don't you frown

I'll say I'm sorry

I'll be around.

You can bet

I'll be there for you

Don't you fret

No matter what I do.

I'll whisper in your ear

Come to you from afar

Don't be frozen with fear

Just wish upon the star

It don't matter what you say,

It don't matter what you do,

You can wish and you can pray

Just take your place in the queue.
